Clap along…

 

Just finished watching Terri Luanna’s Celebration of Life, on this, her 7th deathiversary, and felt compelled to invite you all to click on the link above and “clap along” to the “Happy” lyrics at the end of the slide show which truly embody the essence of our beloved Warrior:

Up until the day she died, Terri Luanna embraced the contradictions of life, sought joy amidst the sorrow, and reveled in the small victories, challenging each and every one of us to do the same. 

So that’s exactly what we did today.

Miss M, Papai, and I held up our beloved Terri Luanna at church. Papai and Miss M tossed a bouquet of flowers into Mamãe’s cherished ocean. And then we shared a meal with Mamãe’s bestie, Auntie Cole, her hubby, and their darling twins, savoring the memory of Terri’s joyful spirit, our hearts full and broken at the same time.

 

Deepest gratitude my beloved niece, for reminding us all to live with our eyes and hearts wide open, to find the magic in the messiness, and to clap along if you feel like happiness is the truth…
