Happy 45th Mamãe❤️

Where to begin…

I kicked off Terri Luanna’s 45th birthday with an unshakably heavy heart. Tears materialized, randomly erupting throughout my morning. But Terri would have none of that. Her emphatic missive was undeniable. As my niece, Tanya, posted early this morning, Terri’s message was clear—”It’s ok. Be happy.”

So Miss M and I did just that.

Thanks to empowerHER, Miss M and I had tickets to Runway for Recovery, a phenomenal event redefining the experience of breast cancer warriors. And it just happened to fall on Terri’s 45th birthday…

Tears were shed, joy was recovered, and a sense of relentless enthusiasm and lust for life was engendered.

As my sister, Terri’s Mom, Jeanne Robinson, used to say, “Words can’t reach it…” But these pictures of our 45th birthday tribute to Mamãe come pretty damn close. Especially the one depicting Miss M randomly opening a page in a hiking book to a Tibetan mountain named Lunana Snowman Trek…
