The Power of Story

For those of you not on social media, I want to turn you on to a powerful and inspirational women’s community—Herself360. I recently published my debut article, “The Power of Story”, in their online Women’s Magazine. Their mission is to bring thoughtful and engaging commentary on stories and advice, that will help women in every aspect of their life. The origin is simple: “Herself360” means to encircle yourself with other women who want to engage, encompass and support each other.

And of course, my beloved niece, Terri Luanna, was the woman who set the serendipitous ripples of connection in motion that led me to them…

It all started thanks to Terri’s childhood friend, Lauren Lemieux, who referred me to be on Stacey Shipman’s podcast, Engaging Voices. A Life Coach and founder of Coaching to Fulfill Dreams (thanks to none other than Terri), Lauren was convinced Graceful Woman Warrior would be a perfect fit for Stacey’s show. Stacey’s mission is to open up conversations with business, non-profit leaders and entrepreneurs who are paving the way for positive change in the Boston Area. Her guest’s offer insights and inspiration around living boldly, building relationships and bringing ideas to life. Miss M joined me for the interview, and to say she ROCKED IT is a complete understatement!

While researching for my initial conversation with Stacey, I listened to her interview with Cathie Briggette, co-founder of Herself360. I felt this nagging knowing that I had already heard about her company. Sure enough, while checking out Cathie’s site, there was an advertisement for empowerHER , and I remembered Herself360 interviewed Cara Belvin, empowerHER’s founder. Listening to my heart, I immediately reached out to Cathie who invited me to share our story.

More and more doors began to open…

Nicole Perry’s article in Herself360, so intrigued me, I attended my first Powerful Women Revealed Team Power Meeting, and not only did I join, I’m scheduled to be on Nicole’s radio show, Powerful Women Revealed! Created by Nicole in 2013 on 95.9 WATD-FM, Nicole’s mission is to support women entrepreneurs and women in business to be seen and be heard, to share their expertise and strengths in a powerful way so that they can educate and inspire others.

But the synchronicity didn’t stop there…

Rewind to my lunch a few months ago with a friend and colleague, Kelly Cabral-Mosier (who just happens to be Lauren’s forever friend) and I found myself coming full circle. Kelly and her friend Caroline Paradise were on a mission to bring a Mindfulness Summit to New Bedford. A few weeks ago I had lunch with Lauren, and guess who’s on the Advisory Committee of Elevate Southcoast? You guessed it! Their dream to create a one-day event featuring captivating speakers, enlightened mindfulness break-out sessions, a mindful marketplace and the opportunity for authentic connection with others has materialized.

So mark your calendars for New Bedford’s first Elevate Southcoast Mindfulness Summit, November 6th, at the Kilburn Mills, Clarks Cove, and stay tuned for info on MIss M’s debut podcast and my Powerful Women Revealed radio spot.

In my heart of hearts, I can literally feel Terri, cosmically cheering Miss M and me on, as we continue to tap into the synchronicity that surrounds us each and every day… All thanks to her❤️

Love,

Auntie L
